For your own safety, security and convenience, DO NOT use your car as a container for personal belongings. The practice of shipping personal belongings packed in an automobile is discouraged for the following reasons:

• Your personal belongings are susceptible to theft while waiting to be loaded on the carrier, while being transported, or after being unloaded at the destination.

• We will not accept your vehicle if it contains personal belongings. United Van Lines  requires that the driver to list the automobile, it's condition and its contents on the inventory. If the contents are not listed the driver is not responsible for the items.
